Our EHS Team (Environment, Health and Security) kicks off the team stories featured in our Heart & Mind in Motion column. Every month one of our TEAMS will talk about its activities and distinctive features, because we believe that knowledge and sharing are the basis of our development.
Alessandro Pramarzoni, our expert #EHS Manager, has been coordinating Safety and Environment activities for the last 14 years.
In just two years, Ilaria Persia has become the main point of reference when it comes to handling incident reports and developing projects related to "Heinrich's Pyramid".
Giuseppe Pastorelli has always been the first person that our new recruits meet for safety training.

So what do you all have in common?
“We don't really have anything in common, which is an advantage for us because we observe and evaluate situations from different points of view.”

What is your team's main strength?
“Our strength is in sharing; as well as our weekly meetings that keep us in the loop and up-to-date, we also address issues with other company departments so that we can combine different expertise and knowledge.
For example, after every accident, we have a detailed discussion with the operators involved, to discover more about the sort of behaviour that caused the injury. Fortunately, we have very few accidents here, although our goal is still ZERO.”

If you had to sum up your team in one word, which one springs to mind?
“Synergy, because we're a great team that combines the skills of the individual members perfectly.”

We've come to the end of this interview, how would you like it to end?
“We'd like to end by saying how proud we are of the improvements made over the last few months, and we want to achieve even better results to safeguard our colleagues.”
