Motovario

Hello, I’m Diego Parente and I was basically born and raised in Motovario.

In fact, the kid in the second photo is me at the age of three. I remember playing in the square in front of the sign, which used to be red.

 

My father worked at Motovario from 1979 to 2019, and for 18 years he was both a caretaker and an assembly technician.

We lived next to Motovario, first near the Ubersetto plant, then near the Formigine plant. Each evening, it was our responsibility to turn off the lights and compressors, and close the windows. I used to follow my father around: wherever he went, I went with him.

If I had to sum up Motovario in a few words, I’d say home, great company and family.

Home, as I was born and raised here, so everything I do today comes very naturally to me. Perhaps it’s because I’ve seen it being done since I was a child. I currently work in casing machining and was promoted to shift supervisor a few years ago.

Great company, as Motovario is one of the best local mechanical engineering companies.

Family, as I have known many of these people since I was little and I care about them all very much. I got to know them when I was a child, and they are my present and future.
