Motovario

An important project has been developed and it includes several Motovario products: helical bevel gear reducers, helical gear reducers, PBZ parallel gear reducers and worm gear reducers, which have been fitted on a new peeled and diced tomato production line.

The final set-up of the system, which streamlines both performance and costs, was achieved thanks to the co-engineering activities carried out by Motovario’s Technical Sales Support team with the customer who manufactured the system.

The machine consists of six superimposed sections with horizontal lanes. The four upper sections are used for cooking, while the two lower ones are for the cooling process. On each section the rotation of tomato cans is alternated to achieve the best possible heat distribution and make the most of the heat exchange surface between the cans and the external environment.

The rotation speed does not depend on the feed speed. This allows for very gentle product processing and, at the same time, a drastic reduction in processing time.

An integrated design approach and the related production process are two key ingredients to guarantee the best result.
