New Motovario motors in India for the material handling sector
25 August 2014The Motovario India subsidiary has reached yet another milestone with the provision of gearmotors to Shakti Pack Pvt Ltd, which have been applied to the rotating brushes for the bulk material conveyor belts.
The conveyor belts for this type of material handling (bulk material handling) are usually concave in order to allow greater volumes of material to be transported, and later become flat after the material has been unloaded. Motorised brush rollers are used to simultaneously eliminate and collect any residues, while at the same time making sure that the material itself does not escape from the conveyor belt and soil the plant.
In order to meet the motorisation requirements for this application, the engineers at the Indian subsidiary, together with those of the company Shakti Pack Pvt, opted for the use of size 50 NMRV worm gear reducers with a gear ratio of i=40, paired with 0.37kW TS 071B4 motors, for which the Indian company has confirmed and requested an annual volume of 300 units.
Shakti Pack Pvt Ltd is specialised in the production of typical equipment for the steel industry. Founded in 2005, this small yet ambitious company with approximately 70 employees primarily operates on the local/domestic market.
Within an active market like that of India, the Motovario Indian subsidiary continues to acquire new partnerships, successfully offering technological solutions to numerous customers and meeting a wide range of production requirements.
