More than 30 member companies attended the event, which kicked off with a speech by Giacomo Villano – Director Relationships, Development, Organisation at Confindustria Emilia, centred on sharing local examples of excellence.

 

Subsequently, CEO Franco Pacini took the floor to introduce the company and its main activities, with a special focus on sustainability and innovation: in particular, the innovative Self Power IE4 synchronous motor without permanent magnets, which was recently added to the Motovario product range, and the 4,000 solar panels installed by the company, which uses it to produce clean energy and to reduce its annual environmental impact by 25%.

 

Afterwards, the event continued with a Factory Tour of the production plant in Formigine, during which participants had the opportunity to appreciate the level of attention that Motovario devotes to each stage of the production process by successfully applying Lean Production principles.

 

‘We take pride in the fact that we opened our doors to companies from the Modena area,’ said CEO Franco Pacini. ‘We consider it essential to make our efforts known to other companies so that we can work towards achieving local economic and social development.’

 

At the end of the meeting, the mayor of Formigine, Maria Costi, illustrated to the participants Motovario’s commitment to occupational safety as well as the great results it has achieved so far, and refreshments were then served.
