A climatic chamber at Motovario: a new investment for higher product quality!
15 June 2021Motovario has made a new important investment:
a 3 m3 climatic chamber to test geared motors, including large ones, has been installed in the testing room, a department where a semi-anechoic room was fitted a number of years ago.
The climatic chamber will be used to test products under stress by replicating extreme environmental conditions ranging from -30°C to +60°C (-22°F to 140°F).
In a global market like the one where Motovario operates, every product can be installed in the most remote corners of the Earth. This is why at the development and design stage it is essential to consider the various climatic conditions where the product will be running.
The chamber can be used to carry out various tests, e.g. to check the fragility of materials at low temperatures or to prevent lubrication issues on geared motors subjected to wide thermal operating ranges.
So with a climatic chamber, Motovario can test and validate in practice the solutions of geared motors with special set-ups that will operate in extreme climatic conditions.
The tests are conducted on behalf of customers for specific applications and new Motovario type-approvals.
