Giovanni Terranova, Motovario’s Operations Director, took part in the “WOMEN, SPORT AND BUSINESS”: THE VALUE OF FEMALE EXCELLENCE” event organised by Confindustria and Sassuolo Calcio
20 November 2023The event, hosted by Sky Italia journalist Sara Benci, featured Veronica Squinzi, CEO of MAPEI and Vice-President of Sassuolo Calcio, Valentina Marchesini, Human Resources Director of the Marchesini Group and Chairperson of the Fondazione Marchesini, Federica Cappelletti Rossi, chairperson of the Serie A Professional Female Division, and Giovanni Carnevali, Sports Director of U.S. Sassuolo Calcio.
Each speaker shared her own professional experience as a woman in highly competitive circles, while emphasising the importance of gender equality and inclusion in all spheres of society.
Carnevali, on the other hand, spoke about the role of women’s football on the Italian sports scene, detailing the progress made in recent years and the challenges still to come.
The event, with over 150 local managers and entrepreneurs, offered a great opportunity to reflect on such an increasingly current and important issue. Women are key players in all areas of society, and the business world is no exception.
