Motovario supports a charity project in Africa.

05 February 2015

Motovario supports the education of African children. The company has recently donated note pads to African schools in Ibata, located 31 kilometres from Bagandou, in the heart of Africa, where 140 children make up three elementary-level classes run by Comboni missionaries

Motovario's donation is part of a wider-reaching project, set up in 2013 and managed by the World Comboni Foundation, that aimed to build the office and two rooms needed in order for children to be able to complete their primary school education. The combining of forces on this (now concluded) project allowed for the on-site building of 50 desks, the collation of teaching materials and the purchase of fuel to allow the nuns to visit the school twice a week to follow development.

"Education is one of the fields to which we pay particular attention" explains the World Comboni Foundation. "We want to encourage the integration of different tribes with activities that respect ethnic and cultural diversity. This project is designed to help students, encouraging adequate education and teaching."
