CEO Franco Pacini opened the first Nemawashi session of 2023, a very important framework for sharing information

The meeting continued, with contributions from all fields of management.

Massimo Boninsegna, CFO, described Motovario's budget and financial situation in the following terms: "We have exceeded all expectations regarding the budget, with similar growth in all our branches."

Gian Paolo Goldoni, Regional Sales Director, added: "Each of our industrial sectors has achieved an excellent business performance, thanks to the exceptional work they've carried out together with our MACs and distributors.  Special credit should go to our Indian branch, which has achieved a considerable growth in business."

Goldoni also spoke of one of the latest big challenges that will have to be addressed in the immediate future. This involves strengthening the sales networks in developing countries so as to offer a even better service to local OEMs.

Maurizio Tagliazucchi, Business Development Director, presented the latest advances in the various ranges, including Mid-Heavy Duty and planetary gear reducers, new developments in Motodoor, Clean Duty and Self Power solutions, and the design status of the REWO concept.

He also announced the dates and framework for these future events:

  • 17 and 18 May in Florence and Formigine, together with distributors and MACs
  • From 20 to 23 June, together with our subsidiaries
  • 3 and 4 September in Barcelona, where we will take our customers on the Catalonia circuit and explore the Talents in Action format

Stefano Potecchi, Purchasing Director, focused on the current situation with regard to materials, and the costs associated with gas and electricity.

Giovanni Terranova, Operations Director, stressed the point that: "Safety is our primary concern, our aim is still to maintain zero accidents by continuing with our programme of improvements."

He also spoke about activities with a sustainable focus, such as current progress in installing the photovoltaic system at the Formigine plant. With its 4114 panels, we will get an annual energy production over 2.500 MWh.

Andrea Gatti, Human Capital Director, pointed to the increasing numbers with regard to hours of training. He referred to the progress in relation to new recruits, explaining the training course designed for them, under the title of Mototraining.

A really positive NEMAWASHI session, which will encourage us to face new challenges with renewed enthusiasm!
