Safety is the top priority at Motovario.

In fact, the Lean Cup Q4, which rewards improvement work in the Operation Department, focuses on the teams’ efforts to reduce accident events.

This year’s award was won by the Grinding and Heat Treatment team thanks to “Safety in the field”.

By adding elements to the Heinrich Pyramid, the two award-winning teams implemented more than 170 preventive actions, a ¼ of the total alerts.

Special thanks go to Carmine La Bruna, head of the Grinding Department, who carried out 64 preventive actions.

The alerts collected are then entered into a shared database so that root causes can be analysed and their corrective actions carried out.

Thanks to the extensive involvement of all operators and supervisors, accident events were successfully prevented and potential risks to people’s health were eliminated.
