Motovario

The winner was Josep Rovira, an Area Sales Manager with over 30 years' experience in the field of power transmission, with David Martin, General Manager of Motovario SAU, accepting the cup on his behalf.

Josep won an important contract for an OEM customer with global operations in the rubber and derivatives sector.

 

Motovario is providing the customer with size 409 Mid-Heavy Duty PBZ gearboxes, able to deliver 100kNm with wide margins of safety.

More particularly, our products will be moving calenders rollers for rubber processing.

 

Specially designed to meet the needs of the customer, this amazing co-engineering project was conducted by Motovario's Technical Sales Support team, taking over a year to complete.

The customer chose Motovario because of the degree of customisation on offer to meet the specifications of the project.
In particular, the co-engineering work involved issues in relation to:

- greater cooling due to the high installed power

- forced lubrication due to the wide input speed range

- adaptation of the unit to the structure of the machine
