Motovario

On 22 April 1970, about 20 million US citizens gathered in a memorable rally for the environment. The idea came from Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson, who led the initiative to highlight the importance of clean air and water following the 1969 oil spill in Santa Barbara, California.

Earth Day is now celebrated all over the world to raise public awareness on the key issue that unites the whole of humanity: protecting the environment and natural resources.

Environmental SUSTAINABILITY is a key element of Motovario's mission:

we want to offer our customers a range of products that is not only competitive and with high performance levels, but above all sustainable. This is why we have created a new range of ultra-efficient electric motors, the SELF POWER motors, which will soon be available on the market to guarantee top energy savings for all industrial applications.

We have also set up numerous “CARE THE EARTH” projects in the company to support the environment, such as improving the energy efficiency our lighting and compressor system, which has cut CO₂ emissions by about 200 tonnes per year. Plus, we have separate waste collection facilities in all our manufacturing departments and in offices, water flasks for employees to reduce the use of plastic and our BIKE to WORK initiative, which will soon be launched in partnership with the municipality of Formigine to encourage employees to use green means of transport.

Every little thing we do can have an impact on the environment where we live and this is why we need to place great care in our behaviour.
