World Day for Safety and Health at Work
28 April 2024As today is the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we will pause to reflect on a key value for Motovario: safety at work.
Safety is the cornerstone on which our well-being and the well-being of all those who work with us is based. It is the quiet confidence of being able to perform our work with serenity, knowing that we are doing so in a safe and secure environment.
What do we actually do for safety?
At Motovario, safety is a top priority. We constantly strive to:
- Invest in training, to provide our employees with the knowledge and tools they need to work safely.
- Adopt the best technologies and procedures, to prevent risks and minimise hazards.
- Promote a safety culture based on responsibility, co-operation and mutual respect.
- Prevent using the Heinrich pyramid, which is a scheme to collect all reports so that the causes can be analysed and the relevant correction actions can be implemented and the Kamishibai or LPA, Layered Process Audits, consisting of daily, weekly and monthly audits performed by operators, team leaders and management, to check whether the production processes are being carried out correctly.
Safety is everyone’s concern:
From management to employees, each of us has a responsibility to help create a safe working environment. Only with everyone’s involvement and co-operation can we achieve our goal of zero injuries.
Safety first!
