PBZ Mid Heavy Duty gear reducer: power and reliability for the treatment of waste in South East Asian
14 June 2024Here are the two PBZ Mid Heavy Duty gear reducers supplied to a South East Asian waste treatment plant to drive a conveyor belt that can move 3,000 tonnes per hour.
The two PBZ helical bevel gear reducers, size 349 and with a nominal torque of 70,000 Nm, were coupled with 55 kW 4-pole motors. To meet the small size requirement, the geared motors were installed with a vertical input shaft. This configuration was put together by the Motovario Technical Sales Support (TSS) and the machine manufacturer.
The gear reducers have also been equipped with a forced lubrication system so that all bearings are properly lubricated. This ensures continuous and uniform lubrication, helping to extend the life of the gear reducer components.
