SPS IPC DRIVES in Nuremberg 2014: the latest development is called DRIVON

06 November 2014

It has been designed in compliance with all the most recent energy efficiency criteria, and boasts all the modularity, expandability, ease-of-use and flexibility aspects of a modern product that will even be able to provide a wide range of project development opportunities in the future.

Motovario will be premiering its new DRIVON inverter motor at SPS IPC DRIVES in Nuremberg: an easy and intuitive D-series product designed for the STANDARD segment of the market and primarily intended to drive pumps, fans and conveyors. The unit is available with a single-phase or three-phase power supply.

DRIVON comes complete with configuration software that can be used to set the inverter motor parameters through the USB port, which is a standard feature of the product. During the product use, this software can monitor the product reference values that can be displayed by means of the integrated oscilloscope function.

The DRIVON also boasts important customization features. By filling out a simple check list, the Motovario customers can directly indicate the technical application data required for the development of their inverter. In fact, by answering brief yet specific questions, the selection software developed by Motovario automatically selects the best possible solution from among the entire range of available products. Each step of the process is monitored and assisted by Motovario's qualified staff.

The smart keyboard is an interface that allows the operator to control and quickly copy the parameters: 7-segment 4-digit display, reverse buttons, integrated potentiometer function, "copy parameters" function, quick connection feature, and can be installed either on-board or remotely.

This new inverter motor, which features a control algorithm that responds to the application dynamics with speed and precision by providing the motor with high torque overloads, will be introduced at SPS IPC DRIVES in Nuremberg.

DRIVON: exceptional performance with system energy efficiency.
