The Lean Cup Q4 2023, which rewards improvement work in the Operation Department, like last year, focused on the teams’ efforts to reduce accident events.

How? Each team adopted a system designed to deal with the Heinrich pyramid, a scheme to collect all reports so that the causes could be analysed and the relevant corrective actions implemented.

This year’s prize has been awarded to the Machining team, with over 300 reports of dangerous situations and behaviour.

Thanks to the extensive involvement of all operators and supervisors, accident events were successfully prevented and potential risks to people’s health were eliminated.
